Working closely with Home Capital’s Investor Relations, Communications and Brand teams, we helped integrate the 2018 Annual Report into a new brand framework that was being rolled out at the same time. The result was more than a financial report, it was a beautifully told story about performance, purpose and the people Home helps achieve homeownership every day.

THE STORIES BEHIND THE NUMBERS
Unlike traditional annual reports that lead with bold financial claims, this one opened with what mattered most: the stories behind the numbers. It was a chance to reintroduce the new Home. A company guided by a strong management team and a renewed focus on its customers. The narrative unfolded gradually, welcoming readers into the Home story one section at a time, from a warm opening message to the company’s strategic priorities: Focused Growth, Alternative Lending Products and a Sustainable Risk Culture.
Each spread was designed to make complex information clear and meaningful, combining data visualization with thoughtful storytelling. Corporate Social Responsibility took a central role, highlighting the lender’s values and long-term commitment to Canadians. By organizing key metrics, integrating CMHC insights and grounding everything in authenticity, the report presented a balanced picture of strength, leadership and purpose – helping Home Capital earn recognition as one of the TSX’s top-performing stocks in 2019.
